 Kin Fong Lei Dr. Kin Fong Lei is the Dean for International Affairs and Distinguished Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan. Prior to joining CGU, he was a Lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong (2007-2010). He received B.S. degree from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan (1998), and Ph.D. degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong (2005). In 2006, he was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Dr. Lei has made significant original contribcs, and bio-sensing. BIO_PHYSICS< BIO_MICROFLUIDICS< AND BIO_SENSING> He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals, authored a book, and contributed to 7 invited book chapters. Dr. Lei has been listed in World's Top 2% Scientists annually since 2020 and was selected as IEEE-NTC Distinguished Lecturer in 2022-2023. Dr. Lei is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Fellow of the Institute of Physics (IOP), and Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He serves as a Chair of IEEE-EMBS Technical Committee on Bionanotechnology and BioMEMS (BNM) in 2020-2022 and Chair of IEEE-NTC Technical Committee on Nanorobotics and Nanomanufacturing (2021 – present). He also served as an organizing committee member for many IEEE conferences for MEMS/microfluidics researchers. He was the General Chair of IEEE-NANOMED 2021, 2023, and 2026. Dr. Lei is the Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience. |
 Alex Kot Prof. Kot is Chief Scientist at SMBU Shenzhen and has been with NTU Singapore since 1991. At NTU, he held key leadership roles: Head of Information Engineering (8 yrs), Vice Dean Research (3 yrs), Associate Dean of Graduate Studies (8 yrs) in the College of Engineering, and Director of ROSE Lab and NTU-PKU Joint Research Institute. He has authored over 400 papers in signal processing, biometrics, image forensics, ML, and AI, and holds 3 patents. He served as Associate Editor for multiple IEEE journals, chaired ICIP 2004, and held various IEEE leadership roles including SPS Vice President. He received NTU’s Best Teacher Award and several best paper awards. He is an IEEE Life Fellow, Singapore Academy of Engineering Fellow, and Changjiang Chair Professor. |
 Jun Zhou Jun Zhou is a Chair Professor in the School of Information and Electronic Engineering at East China Normal University. From 2012 to 2026, he was a Professor at Griffith University, where he also served as Director of the Institute for Integrated and Intelligent Systems. He received his B.S. degrees from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 1996 and 1998, his M.S. degree from Concordia University in 2002, and his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta in 2006. Prof. Zhou has published more than 300 papers in hyperspectral image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, and remote sensing. He is an IEEE Fellow and a past President of the Australian Pattern Recognition Society. Currently, he serves as Editor-in-Chief of SN Computer Science, an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, Pattern Recognition, and the Journal of Soils and Sediments. He has been a key organizing committee member for more than 30 international conferences. |
